How to not fail

I am currently an incoming sophomore at a non-target. What are the main things i should be doing right now and in the future to make sure I’m not unemployed coming out of college. Neither of my parents worked in finance and i don’t really have any other connections to the industry. I am part of business clubs at my school and am currently getting wsj certificates.
