I dont know what to do anymore with recruiting

I have gone through it with IB recruiting. I've had 7 IB interviews with different banks ranging from MM to 6 people boutiques and have made it to the finals 5 out of the 7 times and struck out every time. I think technically is where I have issues. I get so nervous during interviews I can't think when I get a question that I don't know and struggle to answer or I awnser with a lot of uncertainty. It sucks because after I know the answers and could explain them to my friends just fine. I have memorized the guides and I feel like I know and understand all the concepts.  I have always had performance anxiety and just anxiety in general (it runs heavy in my family) I have tried everything from seeing a therapist to running and eating well but nothing works. I have done so many interviews and I feel the same every time. How can I get through this and can I survive in this industry if I can't even handle an interview? Has anyone else had this issue and how did you get through it.

Well you have already identified technicals are the issue so just grind that. The guides arent great indicators for the difficulties of technicals today. You need to mock with ppl who went through EB/PE processes to get better. Maybe its an anxiety thing but do you think u would fck up 10 dollar depreciation no matter how anxious you are? Prob not. Its almost muscle memory for you at this point. You need to get to a point with technicals where you are as comfortable doing a standard 5 year paper LBO as you are walking through dep through 3 statements

I have had the same issue you need to understand your weaknesses. Like the other person said the guides aren’t the best example nowadays, you need to understand the concepts, and you’ll be able to answer any question. If you’re getting anxiety, it’s because you’re not confident in your answers. What I would do is really spend the time studying the concepts and work through it.
