Ideal Careers/Jobs for Hybrid Investor & Operator
I’m interested in finding careers and roles that include both evaluating investments and acting as an operator. It seems like I find myself strategizing what I would do if I was managing the public companies that I cover and almost wanting to make recommendations to the management team for how to make it a better investment once I learn the business.
I know PE broadly fits into this category. I think some corporate jobs like IR or strategy could scratch this itch (maybe less so on the investing side) but the idea of being stuck to one company doesn’t sound great tbh.
What others could I be missing?
