Surprisingly, I have been asked to show up in person for a first-round interview and I have no previous experience interviewing in PE. I have always done first-round interviews on the phone (activist HFs) - I am now going for private equity and found this very weird.
Perhaps I'll be asked to do a paper LBO, but I wasn't sure. Was hoping to get any insight into why this might be the case?
