Intern at the crossroads of his career
Hey all,
I’m an intern at a BB bank in Commerical Banking in CLT but I’m not a fan of it. I want to look at S/T or IB but to do so I have to turn down a return offer for CB essentially taking the safety net of an offer away. Not sure what I should do here, do I deny the offer and take the chance on getting a different offer? Thoughts?

You accept the offer, and recruit for IB or whatever you wanna do. If u get better renege on the old offer, if u don’t get better offer then u keep old offer

make sure that you don’t tell other firms u accepted the offer, if you renege wait at least 6-9 months to post anything on linkedIn about your new job. Best of luck 🍀🍀🍀
