Internal transfer - help/advice?

Thankfully I've been afforded the opportunity to transfer internally within my firm - I met the entire team, interviewed, got my MD/Partner's blessing - so now it's just a waiting game. However, I'm starting to get extremely frustrated because it seems like nobody knows anything about the timing. Nobody in the group, the recruiters, or leadership knows when/wont set a specific date. They placed a hold on hiring temporarily, yet, still don't know if that's going on at the moment because nobody knows anything. So my question is, how do you get answers/seek out answers without annoying people/getting on their bad side? I don't care as much with the recruiters because that's literally their job, but every time I reach out they either don't respond or "have to get back to me" then I don't hear anything. What advice do you have on how to proceed?
