interships that are useful for both consulting and investment banking
(This is my first post, hope it's in the right forum...)
I live in Germany and want to move to New York.
I'll apply to Columbia next year, but in case I don't get in I want to start working in consulting/investment banking and then transfer to a nyc office.
My question is what internships I can do that are useful for both industries, in case I don't get into one of the two.
