Is getting rejected from diversity programs normal?
I’m at a target, high GPA, varied experience (not entirely in finance though). My resume has been vetted, and I’m 2-3 (usually 2) diversity categories. I’m curious what the criteria is on these programs. I genuinely feel like I’d have a better shot at regular recruiting since it’s not just a resume screening. The only thing I can think of is that I’m sure a lot of people of my demographic are also applying.
The may favor non-targets. I’m a hispánic and non-target and got into ms, gs, and Citi programs. Hope this helps
I’m wondering abiut that but I don’t want to sound like I’m coping
