Is it worth applying to sophomore summer BB stuff as a non-diversity student?

title. Non-diversity from an ivy with a 3.7 in economics/math... experience interning for a small VC "family office" firm and a search fund. I've been applying my ass off to a lot of sophomore summer internships but I get the feeling that it's all for naught, and even the ones that won't explicitly advertise the fact that they're marketed towards diversity hires actually are. Should I just focus on taking online courses and knowing my stuff for next year? I'd hate to waste my time and don't have a lot of connections in the industry as my family works in retail.

Very unlikely at the large banks if you are non-diverse but definitely try to target smaller boutiques in your area. Any experience will put you in a good place for junior year recruitment.

I just went through SA24 recruiting at a non-target. Sophomore summer is almost entirely irrelevant given how early junior recruiting takes place.
