Is the Energy Rodeo worth it

Hi,
Has anyone been to the Energy Rodeo held in Houston? I am thinking of dishing out $800 and go down there from Canada, would it be worth it? Has anyone really been able to secure good job leads from that event and how receptive is visiting companies on considering candidates from Canada?

obscenityAlso interested. Is there anyone who has attended in the past who would like to share their experience? Are the companies there actually looking to recruit, or is it more of a straight networking thing?
Energy is the place to be right now
