is this a back office job?

hey guys, im currently in a job search and i came across some postings that i wanted to clarifyon. I found the following job description and can someone please explain whether its a "back office" job or not?

Job Functions, Unique Duties & Responsibilities:

Manages and tracks large volumes of transactions from deal notices

Actively researches discrepancies with various agents and clients

Liaisons with counterparts to ensure accuracy of transaction flow

Actively monitors data discrepancies and initiates resolution within scope of authority, as needed

Assists in weekly reconciliation and data integrity reporting

Prepares and analyzes hypothetical transactions according to deal requirements

Monitors deal transactions to ensure all cash, trades, and other deal activity are updated and recorded properly

I'm an undergrad about to graduate(very non target) and would this be a good fit for someone who wants to break in to AM one day.
