Laid off : what to look for in the severance pkg release form
Got a notice that I will be gone but Co. will put me 2 months on the payroll after which severance will kick in. The role is getting nuked and eliminated.
For those who have been through this, what should I specifically look for in the release form to protect myself for future employment? Quick search shows that the release form should have a clause on not disclosing the condition of my discharge other than that I am eligible for re-hire.
How does layoffs show up on background check and what else/can I ask for them to put in the release form?
