Law school to finance for non-traditional job seeker

I graduated from university a few years ago. Because of family issues, I had to stay home a lot of the time and have only done part-time jobs. Now that my family issues have been resolved, I can start focusing on my career.

The problem is that without any meaningful experience, no banks will hire me and no MBA programs will admit me. One way to get a finance job is to go to law school, practice law for a few years, and hopefully jump to a bank. This is not the recommended route for most people, but for someone like me without any experience, would this be the best route?

With my GPA and LSAT, I can get into a T14 law school. With all the new regulations now, are banks hiring more lawyers (either for banking/trading or compliance roles)?
