Leaving after 3 months

Currently work at BB in a non-IB (but still CIB front office role) my ultimate goal is to be in investment banking and I have an amazing offer for a near immediate start at another BB (lower tier but coverage IB group) how bad would it look to leave after just 3 months? Part of me says no bc it will ruin every connection at my current firm. Other part says to go and be happy at the new job, as this is simply “business” and my firm would do the same if needed (ie. Layoffs)
