Leveraging junior AM internship into FT IB roles

Title. I'm a current junior at a target school seeking to enter IB/VC out of college. Right now, I have an offer for a large insurance firm's fixed income team and may get an offer for another insurance firm's PE team. Other than that, I have no finance experience as I realized banking was for me very late (sophomore summer) in comparison to others and so could not land an IB internship. Looking for advice on how to leverage this role into IB FT roles and how I can improve myself as a candidate. Should add that I do actually really like finance and am willing to put in time this fall/spring to build skills and get certifications if that will help!

- I have a 3.82 GPA, attend a target, am not a diversity student, and this will be my first finance internship. Am I screwed or is there a path?
