London Summer Recruiting: How is it going?

Title, give me your anecdotes.
I know there is lots of chatter about MBA hiring being tough, but how about summer undergrad and masters?

I had to de-enroll from my MSc for family reasons, so am on the outside looking in.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that the recruiting process can vary greatly depending on individual circumstances. Some find it straightforward, while others find it challenging. For instance, one individual applied to around 200 internships in various fields before landing an unpaid internship at a search fund. This person found the recruiting process to be straightforward, despite not being the most qualified or the hardest working.

On the other hand, MBA Summer Associate recruiting can be tough, with one person mentioning that they had to put in a lot of work to secure offers. However, they also mentioned that their class was overall very successful.

As for undergraduate and master's summer recruiting, there isn't specific information available in the WSO threads provided. However, it's important to note that the recruiting process can be influenced by many factors, including the state of the job market, individual qualifications, networking efforts, and more.

Remember, every monkey has to climb its own tree. Keep swinging!
