Looking back, where in finance would you start your career?

To the senior monkeys and those with work experience, if you were to go back in time, which area of finance would you choose to target out of undergrad - investment banking, private equity, private credit, long only, equity/credit research, long/short, S&T, etc.? Is what you would aim for today different than it was when you graduated? Front office finance has seen many changes in recent years, and it would be great to hear from those who have been in the industry for some time!
