Lost sophomore desperately needing guidance

Hello. As a struggling sophomore, I have a kind request for advice.

I am an international (non-diverse) student at a target school (Think Ivies). I have done nothing in terms of networking or interview prep so far. I had a local investment baking internship freshman year back home, some quantifiable finance experience, a decent GPA, and substantial leadership and professional experience (international firms) on my resume. I know I am ultra-late to recruiting. My questions are,

a) Is it still worthwhile or even feasible to try and break into IB if I begin right now?
b) If not, what are my other options in high finance that I can still make for Summer '25 if I try crazy hard?

Thank you. I appreciate it.
