hi, soph at top target. applied recently to Macquarie sophomore summer - apparently my friend from a different target got a thank you email from them today saying they're finished recruiting and will review applications shortly - what does this mean, but I didn't get one. this was a very generic email and im confused/worried as to why I didn't get it. I got a confirmation email too.

pardon my grammar def did not read that over before posting. ik it sounds super silly given that the email in question was super generic but actually don't have a single clue as to why this is the case.
did you check to ensure you filled out the application correctly? this happened to me with and I missed a dropdown so they didn't get my app
hmmm not sure. I got a confirmation email after I applied, and now I can't access my application since I submitted it
if you got a confirmation email you should be good

This indidcates they did not start reviewing - so not sure how you would already be filtered out before they start reviewing. If you applied and got confirmed should be in.
