Making the move

I'm currently working as an entry level trader and analyst, at a reserve bank with a large FI mandate. (around 3 BIO AUM). I'm considering rotating too AM and hopefully PE in the longrun.

I have a finance background and am sitting for CFA level 2 this june. I've followed a several posts that suggested that it wont help to much. What skills can I gain now to smoothen the transition to any job in the city.

Im in an emerging market
