Middle Eastern and diversity?

Ok I know this is a really dumb question likely, but as a rising sophomore seeing all these diversity events happen and invites be sent out, I can’t help but ask if a middle eastern person should bother applying to any of these? I understand almost everywhere classifies middle eastern as Caucasian and therefore as white for ethnicity purposes. Are there any banks in particular that perceive Arab or middle eastern as underrepresented or even any specific programs?

Sorry if this is obvious again or if it seems like I’m trying to exploit something. I just wanted to ensure that I wasn’t misssing out on anything. Thanks!
