Misled...what to do now?

I recently took a new job and have quickly realized that I was completely misled about the role and what it involves. Based on the JD and interview process, I was led to believe that this role exactly fit my background and skillset. The firm (well-known) aggressively pursued me and continued to reassure me that my experience was perfectly aligned with what they were looking for.

Fast-forward to me joining, and I'm immediately told that all of my time will be spent doing work that is completely unrelated to my skillset (and is menial compared to what I have been doing). I am also paired up with someone that I did not interview with and has a reputation for acting inappropriately in the past. When I continue to bring up that the work I'm doing is not aligned with what was discussed in the interview process, I am labeled as "difficult" and am told that I have the wrong impression of what this job entails.

I really don't know what to do going forward aside for looking for another job. I feel like my reputation is shot now that I've spoken up, and at the end of the day this job is not what I'm looking to do based on what I know now. I'm just getting stressed about finding another job with summer approaching. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
