Moving out of BlackRock's Aladdin Client Services to more investment related position
I am currently an intern at BlackRock in their Aladdin Client Services group. I have a finance and CS background from a target school with a decent GPA and feel like this position is not the right fit for me. I would like to do something more related to actual investing or even IBD.
What are my options coming from a basically "tech support" role and how can I start making the transition? I really don't want to get stuck here for two years because the company's policy is no internal mobility during the analyst program.
