My favorite part of the job is the fire drill -- what job has the most time spent doing something intense?
My favorite part of the job is the day before we have to send our deck out to the client where everything is a cluster fuck and we're all absolutely zoned in life our lives depend on it. I love that intensity.
Just as a point of curiosity, what biz / finance jobs have the most time spent in that intensity mode?
You should work for the NYC fire department in the office safety division (assuming it exists) then you can have a fire drill everyday.
On the realz though if it's feasible given your background you should consider trading; even a quiet day can be intense when you can lose or make a stick or two at any moment.
