My offer got rescinded
Hey everyone,
I got an internship offer at a boutique bank. Today, they had rescinded my offer citing hiring needs. I haven't lied on my resume or (as far as I understand) did anything wrong. So I'm confused why this happened to me.
Any advice on what I should do in this situation would be highly appreciated.
We currently know as much as you do, if you reach out to them and ask for an explanation that is a start.
It's not unusual to email the hiring manager thanking them for the interview, so it really shouldn't be a surprise that you would inquire about the position after having an offer then having it rescinded.
