Need Adivce

I am a penultimate year business student at a non-target university in a city with low financial activity in Spain. There are only 1-2 funds with few aum, one B4 with a small M&A team and a small boutique. There are some important renewable companies, with small M&A/Structured Finance/Project Finance teams and a very small team of a small boutique specialized in renewables.
I am planning to move to do my final year of university at a semi-target university in a top city, and I think getting there with an internship in the sector on my cv would greatly improve my chances. So I need to get an internship this first half of the year. However, in this city it is not common to do internships before the last year of the degree; the few positions that do come up are for final year students (they specify it in the job offers) and I have no contacts in the industry that could help me. I have thought to start networking with a focus to get an intern, but I have doubts about how to do it effectively: do I contact the juniors to tell me about their experience and after the talk I ask them about interns and if they could put me in contact with the person responsible for that? In the case of renewables, do I contact the M&A manager directly?

I have the feeling that I have few bullets and I can't miss them, and in the end the analysis paralysis is killing me. I appreciate any advice you can give me
