Need Advice on Career path

I graduated from a non target business program at a target school think (BMOS/Queens Econ) and I was a athlete in my time at school but I struggled to find finance related internships. I want to break into IB I was just wondering what you guys think is my best course of action. I have completed all of the WSP modelling courses and I have also been grinding away the 400qs. I managed to land two analyst interviews at different MM boutiques but didn't receive any offers. I have mainly been aiming for IB but would be extremely happy with ER/ST. I have also completed my CSC, do you guys think I should start level 1 CFA or just keep networking in hopes of receiving more interviews/offer? Thanks and I look forward to any advice!

Side note: I went to a highschool with a tremendous alumni group and have been leveraging that as well as former athletes in the space.
