Need some serious advice - New to IB, ER industry
Hi all,
I have been following this website for only months now,
I'm new to the IB, Equity Research industry,
Based out of pittsburgh, PA working as an Equity Research Analyst from past 10 months now, Company is an independent special situation research firm,
I have gained thorough knowledge of chapter 11 filing, Financial restructuring, Valuation, Comp search, Financial Statement Analysis, Industry analysis (generalist)
I'm an MBA in finance with CGPA 3.66, not one of the target schools,
I have had no formal training of LBO and M&A modeling except for Financial Modeling course that I took for my MBA..
I'm also wondering about these investment banking courses like wallstreet, AnEX advantage and others... are they really worth spending?
If you experienced people have any advice for me of where to find an entry-level or 1st year Analyst, Research Associate jobs at this time, please let me know...
If somebody is kind enough to know about the position and is willing to contact me, my cell number is: Thanks, Rahul
