Networking and Recruiting During COVID-19

Hi everyone, I’m currently a student at semi-target school and am looking for advice on how to approach recruiting during these times. It has definitely been harder to grab the attention of analysts and senior bankers through emailing and I’m looking to get advice as to how I need to change my approach to be more effective. Going to a semi-target it is definitely harder to get my name out there and even after emailing about 15 people this week, no one has responded. Even the alumni at my school are being less responsive than before the COVID-19 which I understand but I did not think that it would become this hard to simply set up informational calls. I currently have one super day coming up at a MM but I’m trying to get into other processes and not put all my hopes into one bag. any thoughts or reccomendations for students in my position trying to break into IB from a semi-target during these times??

which semi target? If a big one with tons of alumni keep plugging away, but if not aka alumni are limited, maybe dial it back a notch
