Networking as an Undergrad?
Freshman at the moment. I've been reaching out to people on LinkedIn and at local MBB offices to schedule a short coffee chat about their work, how they got in etc. The conversations however feel too superficial to flourish into a fruitful connection.
I think the core problem however is that, truth be told, I'm not exactly sure what I'm networking for; I've kinda just blindly followed what my peers are doing. What should I be doing in these conversations to position myself best when I'm applying in a few years?
