Networking email to BB VP that I met on holiday

Looking to reach out to a guy I met while on holiday, who happens to be a BB VP... I had no idea, but his watch and cash holdings told me that something was up... Anyhow, we got along quite well - we went jet skiing and surfing together for a couple of days, which is why I feel that the following e-mail template (that I got from some other WSO thread) might be a little stiff and perhaps too formal. We live in different countries, so a coffee/lunch is out of the picture. Any ideas?

I hope that you've had a pleasant summer and that you managed to get some time on the water!

I graduated with a degree in economics and finance from bs in August. I am very interested in learning more about investment banking and would love to hear your experiences from the industry. I was hoping you might have some time for a quick call this week or the next one? I have attached my resume for context.

If you met him more than a few weeks ago I'd add a sentence at the beginning noting how you met, VPs are busy and you don't want him to wonder who you are and delete it.

Other than that it's a good email, better to be too formal in an intro than informal
