Networking Etiquitte?

How do I go about networking with multiple people in the same firm?

I’m looking to make a career change soon and have a few firms on my radar. I narrowed down a few people (either worked at my current firm or school alumni) but I’m not sure if it’s looked down upon to randomly reach out to multiple people within the same firm, especially in the same department (entire office is about 150-200 people). Also, is it best to reach out to more senior folks or analyst/associates and have them introduce you to someone higher up?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Tough call.

IMO I'd limit outreach to just one person within a department if they're being accessible/accommodating to your networking efforts. If you reach out to someone and then get stone walled then reach out to others.

That's my $0.02. Interested to hear what others have to say.
