Networking gone wrong?

For context, I’m a college student trying to get into IB. Let’s say I hypothetically started talking to someone high up in BB but not IB about professional stuff. All of sudden, things have become sexual in a way I am not at all comfortable about. I don’t want to continue at all. But how would I shut it down without having some sort of retaliation? Could he black ball me if I don’t play ball? Should I report it to the bank? I feel worried that they would close ranks due to how high up he is there.

Are you a guy or a girl? Have you been assaulted?

To answer your "hypothetical"

I'll speak honestly here - saying anything without SOLID proof (something in writing for example) will just see it denied and then it's a student vs high level employee.

Yes you'll get blacklisted by the bank.

We are both guys 😳. Nothing physical we are in diff cities.
The whole evidence thing makes complete sense. I have linked in DMs, emails, texts. He has sent completely inappropriate pictures (but not explicit). Pretty sure he just vaguely asked for pictures last night. He keeps texting me repeatedly and makes some completely outta pocket jokes, especially for someone who he doesn’t know.

I hope I am just misinterpreting it. It seems like it may just be some guy who is too comfortable doing what he does. But I would also like to just never hear from him again. But would that get me blacklisted? Like if I ignore his weird ass morning texts. Because I feel obligated to respond. And we have a call set up soon but I’m definitely going to record that incase things get weird.

Dude you have a golden opportunity here. Just lead him on until he plugs you for that sweet SA stint get the return offer and then ghost him. If he threatens to do anything keep the paper trail of messages and threaten to report him to HR once you’re in the company

I don’t really need the connection to the point I’m gonna suk dik for it. And I’m not planning on sending pictures or anything. That shit is straight up disgusting. I’m 19 he’s like 45.

I’m already an intern in buyside pe. I would like to spend a summer at BB IB for the training, but then return to my gig. But if this is what it takes to get an internship at BB fuck that.
