Hi all! I have a bit of a predicament that I need to pick some people's brains about...
I have a current position as an analyst and have received interest from another Company (a competitor). To move forward in the hiring process at the new Company, they have requested I send a few underwriting examples from my current position. They have stated that printing out the memos, blacking out proprietary information and then scanning and sending it over is perfectly fine. I said that this would be fine but am having second thoughts, as, even though I completed the memo and it was my analysis, the memo belongs to my current employer.
Has anyone ever heard of this being requested? Has anyone done this? Any advice or things I should ask the new Company?
