No news = good news?
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my current situation. I had a SuperDay last Friday (8 days ago). I still haven't heard back at all even though I was assured a phone call either way.
Here's the kicker, I have been in touch with 2 of the other people who attended this SuperDay. They both got rejection calls this past Thursday! Where does this leave me? I'd think that if they wanted me I'd have gotten a call already. I also would like to think I would have recieved the rejection call by now were that the case.
Any idea what's going on?
You're probably on the waiting list, meaning they offered the position to their top choices, and if they don't accept the offer, you will get the offer. Your chances depend on your spot on the waiting list (the list surely has more than one person on it), but it is better than being outright rejected. good luck.
Agreed.
Whats the average wait time from superday --> offer/rejection?
My time was roughly a week later.
Tier 1 candidates will receive an offer anywhere from 1hr to 48 hours after their interviews. They are then given anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks to accept. Tier 2 candidates won't receive an offer until Tier 1 rejects. Tier 3 candidates will be notified within a week.
HR informed me by e-mail today that they "are still in the process of evaluating your candidacy with us." I guess this means waitlist (tier 2/3).
I'll take that over flat out rejection.
Should have clarified - tier 3 is rejection (notified within a week). Tier 2 is waitlist and can notification period can range from one week to a month.
Yea no response is better than a rejection at this point......just curious which superday was this?
