I interviewed for a VC analyst position last Wednesday, got an email from the MD asking for references on Thursday and I sent those in Friday. He responded last Friday fairly quickly to that email saying he wouldn't contact them until a decision was made and ended it with "talk soon". I followed up yesterday since it's been a weekend from the interview and there's been no response to that. Have I been dinged?
