Live in the NYU dorm Greenwich Hotel, it's over on the West Side and you can take the 1,2 if you need to. It's available to non-credit-bearing residents. Dorms don't allow smoking inside, and it's $285 a week / $1,140 a month.

Wait, I'm gonna be a SA at Citi this summer too with the same program dates! Just submitted my app today for nyu housing at the Greenwich Hotel!

Doesn't NYU housing end on August 13th though?

Citi has NYU Dorms in the Greenwich Hotel. Unfortunately my internship ends on the 19th and those dorms only last till early August. I double-checked with the VP of HR and she said basically for SA's in my situation I gotta find housing on my own...bummer.

Yeah, but if you sent off an email to whatever address they provide you might be able to swing an extension. There's NYU kids in the buildings between close of summer housing and fall semester's opening as transition residents, so it's not like the buildings shut down. I don't know how open they'd be to a non-student doing it, but it's worth looking into at the very least.
