On-Campus Recruiting Question

Overall, my campus career fair is a joke (non-target LAC), but a few large companies visit to recruit some non-finance jobs that likely would not give me great odds at an MBA business schools">M7 MBA down the line. Target comes, but they're mostly looking for district managers; GE Capital is usually there, but they're recruiting for a small, regional office in the middle of nowhere.

Is it possible to connect with these recruiters in a way that might get me some other position at these companies? I'm hoping to land a rotational finance program, and it would be great to get in with GE.

I would appreciate any advice or anecdotes you have to offer. Thanks very much.
