On-Cycle Headhunters

Starting full-time at HC M&A group this summer. I am prepping for on-cycle recruiting, and it seems that it is almost 100% run through headhunters.

However, I know that there are "headhunters" who are pretty much scams, and I should never send my resume / take a call with them.

What is the easiest way to figure out if a headhunter is legit or not? There are some I've already come across that don't have much info on WSO. I don't want to miss any opportunities but also don't want to be reckless with my resume. Thanks!
