Options for someone who's graduated for 2 years

Trying to get in the door after 1.5 yrs of not too finance related career, graduated from non target with not too impressive gpa. Been looking at a lot of network posts in this forum to get a sense of how to get in touch with industry professionals. Going to go for MBA in 2 to 3 yrs so going to biz school right now is not an option for me unfortunately. Looking for general advice thank you!

Sounds like our situations are very similar. I've got about 1.5 years of non-finance experience after graduating from a non-target. MBA is at least a couple years down the road for me, and while I'd love to be able to "break in" before my MBA, I know how likely that is. I'm just trying to network my a** off right now, but I'm also trying to be realistic and figure out how I can gain meaningful pre-MBA experience if I can't break into IB before then.
