PE in Menlo Park
What are some of the best PE firms in that have large offices in Menlo Park / Palo Alto? Also, are they almost exclusively focused on tech and med tech, or do they allow for generalist associate roles as well?
SLP, the former, KKR, the latter
Other firms have offices on sand hill as well.. Elevation, etc.
KKR, Silver Lake, General Atlantic.
Any other ones that stand out? There are dozens on Sand Hill Rd and around it, but I would like to focus on ~10 or so.
Is elevation really considered one of the best PE firms in Menlo?
They seem very small, with a lackluster record.
