Position Termininated

Fellow monkeys,

I am sure everyone is aware of the challenging market conditions and lack of jobs. How would someone go about cold emailing for jobs? Beyond reaching out to your personal network and applying on LinkedIn, what else can someone do?

It's rough with more announcements coming from rumblings in the market. I'd start reaching out to recruiters that might of hit you up in the past. They might not have something now, but networking with them a internal position that isn't publicly being listed.

It's going to be hard but many firms also have email lists if you can get on them about roles they are trying to fill once hiring starts picking up.

I always look on indeed or Linkedin and then applied directly to their website, sometimes it mentions their hiring contact you can connect with.

Also look on your alumni boards, if you went to a decent business school they have strong job postings there sometimes.
