Private Practice M&A
Hey guys,
Recently I have been offered a position as an M&A analyst for a growing private practice that looks to acquire other practices with similar business models in order to leverage suppliers and buyers. The position is within the healthcare industry, and want to beat the private equity firms at a consolidation play. Day to day I would be meeting with practitioners and also financial modeling potential synergies etc. (but since practice are so small they more often than not simply have a P&L statement).
Wanted to hear your thoughts on the role and potential exit opportunities down the road and if anyone has any experience within a similar role that they could discuss. Again note, this is not with an investment bank, but rather proprietors of an existing practice that want to expand.
Cheers
