Project Finance, best move?

Hi all,

I currently work at a Big4 (emerging country) in the deal advisory division and have been offered locally a project finance position at a top firm (HQ in a euro country).

I have experience with power and utilities modeling which is why this makes sense for a potential move.

However, I would mainly want to potentially pivot to a role where I can get the attention from recruiters (PF or any finance related institutions) in the New York area.

Just wondering if taking on this job is a step closer to my ultimate goal or should I try something else. Also, I’m pursuing the CFA certification in relation to achieving this goal.

Any comment or experience on this could really help me.

Thanks in advance!
