Providing value while networking?

After reading a few networking guides and tips in general, the subject that frequently comes up is providing value to the person that you’re trying to connect w/. How can someone like me, a year out of undergrad & not even in finance, provide value to a junior/senior analyst, etc.. Or is it even possible to provide value in this case? I’m trying to figure this out before reaching out.
