Quit Job and shoot for an internship?
I'm at a cross roads and would like some input if anyone cares to give it. I've gone to school for 3 years now while working full time in retail banking. Long and short, I'm 25 and managing my second branch. Pretty old to still be in school, but pretty young to be managing a branch.
I've got between 2-3 semesters of school left depending on my class load, but I can't decide between what I see as my 3 possible options...
1. Shoot for an internship this summer in either AM, PWM, or possibly S&A w/ Bloomberg. Quit my $55K a year job and find whatever I can to keep food on the table during the following 2 semesters while I graduate, and ideally have an FT offer at the end of the summer.
2. Keep working, finish school in May 2014 w/o having done any internships and start looking for jobs around November, hopefully to have one lined up for when I graduate.
3. Quit my job just before fall semester, take 21 credits and graduate before the year is over.
I'm going to have to take some kind of dramatic action to get out of where I'm at to where I want to be.
Ut rerum animi autem ab iure esse. Velit totam in rem aut architecto est.
