Quit my finance job because I hated living in NYC

Hi,

A little bit about myself I went to a target school, and after graduating, I worked in consulting for a year. I did not enjoy my job, so I started recruiting and got an offer at a big bank doing cross-asset research in a niche area. This job required me to move to NYC (a city I always wanted to live in, but soon those dreams were shattered). I loved my job and have been working there for two months, but I hated living in NYC. Juggling being far away from family on the west coast, typical finance work hours, studying for my finra exams, and adjusting to the monster of a city NYC is, it was super tough. I also had a close family member pass away weeks after my move, so lots going on... Three months in, I made the difficult decision to leave NYC. Because my role is very regulated, I was not able to get the transfer to the West Coast because the teams are strictly in NYC or Europe. So I had to give my two-week notice. This was a great opportunity, and I learned a lot. I obviously need to start recruiting again and strictly want to be on the west coast. My manager still recommends I add the two months of experience to my resume, but I'm not sure how to craft the story for recruiters. Or when they see the two months at this insanely great firm everyone wants to work with, but I just quit? My mental health was on the line, and now that I'm home, I'm happier than ever and don't regret my decision. It was a shame I couldn't adjust to the city, but I knew in the end I could not power through it. Any tips would be helpful, my manager recommended I just be honest.
