Quit Unpaid internship

Hello All,

So I’m in a 9month internship that ends in April. I already accepted an internship for next summer but I had this on my resume. I’ve been in this internship since June, which is remote and in an industry I want to work in. The thing is, the fund I work for is tiny as hell 10mm aum. I didn’t have an internship lined up so I took this. I hate the structure of the fund, as it’s not institutionalized so I’m not learning anything and I’m trying to help her raise capital but she doesn’t want to listen to me. Is it okay if I put in my 2 weeks notice even though I agreed to 9 months

Honestly dude I'd tough it out. You'll deal with people you don't like and likely work at companies with certain things you hate over the course of your career. I can imagine how you have little motivation to work for them, but if you just stick with it you would be avoiding the tiny chance that somehow news spread that you quit. People generally don't like it when interns quit early, but since the fund is so small I doubt anything would come out about it. I'm a "better safe than sorry" type of person but if it is like actually unbearable, I don't think anyone would blame you.
