Recommended institutions for internship hunting?

Hey everyone,

I'm a rising sophomore currently on a pre-law track (+ econ) at a non-target (Pitzer College). As per a friend's recommendation, I've been using Linkedin to spot some decent internship opportunities.
Any recommendations on boutiques or firms I should look into, especially as a non-target student? I know the GS and JPM of the world are tough to break into, to say the least...
I've been reaching out to a bunch of alumni through Linkedin, seeing if I can develop any connections at their spots (pwc, State Street). Also been in contact with family friends and asking around about their careers as well.

Thanks guys. First post, excited to get more involved in this community
