I've been working at a no-name bank (associate) for the past year, right after grad school (non-target) and am interested in switching to MM/BB. I mostly work on sell-side engagements from $50 M to $350 M. Does anyone have advice on how to make that switch.
In the past, I made it to the superday for Baird and Jefferies. Got dinged both places. Baird said I didn't have a lot of experience (and my why Milwaukee answer wasn't satisfactory). Jefferies had me on waitlist, ended up hiring a guy with more experience.
